Touch Pad

 A touchpad is a computer input device that allows the user to control the movement of a cursor or object on a computer screen by sliding their fingers over a flat, touch-sensitive surface. It is commonly found on laptops and other portable devices, as it provides a compact and convenient way to navigate the screen without requiring a separate mouse or other input device.

When the user slides their fingers over the touchpad, it sends signals to the computer, which then moves the cursor or object on the screen accordingly. Touchpads typically have one or more physical buttons, located near the bottom of the touchpad, that can be used to perform various actions such as selecting items, opening menus, or scrolling through documents or web pages.

Some touchpads also feature additional gestures, such as pinching or swiping, that can be used to perform more advanced actions such as zooming or navigating between open applications.
