What is Computer?

A computer is an electronic device that can perform a wide range of tasks by executing programs or software. It can receive, process, store, and output data according to programmed instructions. Computers are capable of performing a variety of functions, from simple arithmetic calculations to complex data analysis and simulation.

The basic components of a computer include a central processing unit (CPU), which is responsible for executing instructions, memory, which stores data and instructions, input/output devices such as keyboards and displays, storage devices such as hard disk drives and solid-state drives, and various other peripherals such as printers and scanners.

कंप्यूटर एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण है जो प्रोग्राम या सॉफ्टवेयर को क्रियान्वित करके कई प्रकार के कार्य कर सकता है। यह प्रोग्राम किए गए निर्देशों के अनुसार डेटा प्राप्त, प्रोसेस, स्टोर और आउटपुट कर सकता है। कंप्यूटर सरल अंकगणितीय गणनाओं से लेकर जटिल डेटा विश्लेषण और अनुकरण तक कई प्रकार के कार्य करने में सक्षम हैं।

कंप्यूटर के बुनियादी घटकों में एक सेंट्रल प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट (सीपीयू) शामिल है, जो निर्देशों, मेमोरी को निष्पादित करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है, जो डेटा और निर्देशों को संग्रहीत करता है, इनपुट/आउटपुट डिवाइस जैसे कि कीबोर्ड और डिस्प्ले, स्टोरेज डिवाइस जैसे हार्ड डिस्क ड्राइव और सॉलिड- राज्य ड्राइव, और विभिन्न अन्य बाह्य उपकरणों जैसे प्रिंटर और स्कैनर।
