Exporting a Basic Project
🚀 Exporting a Basic Project
After editing your video — adding clips, trimming, transitions, text, and effects — the final step is to export (or render) your project.
Exporting means converting your Filmora project (.wfp) into a final video file (like .mp4, .mov, or .avi) that you can share or upload.
🎬 1. What Does Exporting Mean?
Exporting combines all your edits, effects, and media files into a single playable video file.
This file can then be uploaded to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or any platform.
⚙️ 2. Steps to Export a Project
Step 1: Click the Export button on the top toolbar or press Ctrl + E.
Step 2: The Export Window will appear with several options:
🧩 3. Choose Export Settings
A. Local (Save to Computer)
-
Select the Local tab.
-
Choose the File Format — commonly MP4 (recommended).
-
Enter a File Name and choose a Save Location (e.g., Desktop, Videos folder).
B. Adjust Video Settings
Click Settings to customize:
-

💡 5. Tips for Exporting:
-
Always preview your video before exporting.

Use low bitrate for smaller file size, high bitrate for best quality.
-
Keep your original media files until the export is done.

-
Open your saved project.
-
Click Export → Local → MP4.
